For Asia week 2019, Ronin Gallery presented a selection of 19th century masterwork triptychs by Kuniyoshi. As associate director of the gallery, I created the visual branding for the exhibition. For the printed invitation and newspaper advertisements, I went with a muted orange set against a hue of blue that was subtle enough so as not to fight with the powerful beast in Kuniyoshi’s image. An exhibition book was also published featuring all of the curated works alongside text about the legends depicted. View the catalogue on Issuu here.
