The Asian American Advocacy Fund asked me to create an illustration for their campaign theme of "What’s the future we’re building for our kids?” They requested an interpretation that would captivate the audience on a deeper level and I came up with a concept around lanterns. One lantern can light up the steps in front of you, but many lanterns together can brighten up a path forward, illustrating the collective impact of voting.
